Interview in Blickpunkt Uetikon
“Many people have forgotten how to listen to their bodies.”
In an interview with the regional newspaper Blickpunkt Uetikon, I talk about nutrition psychology and the factors that influence our eating behaviour.
The conversation explores an important question: Why do we eat the way we eat?
Our eating behaviour is influenced not only by what we know about nutrition, but also by emotions, habits, stress, our social environment, available time and personal values. A holistic approach considers the person as a whole rather than looking at nutrition in isolation.
Another focus of the interview is body awareness – learning to recognise and listen to signals such as hunger, satiety and enjoyment, and to develop a more conscious and relaxed relationship with food.
The interview was published as a print feature in Blickpunkt Uetikon on 14 August 2026.
