Healthy eating doesn’t begin on the plate
Holistic Nutrition Psychology Workshop: How Different Areas of Life Shape Our Eating Habits—and How Eating Shapes Them in Return
Workshop (8 Sessions)
We eat every day—several times a day. Often automatically, sometimes consciously, sometimes on the side. In doing so, we repeatedly make the same decisions:
What do I eat? When, how much, and with whom?
People around the world ask themselves these questions—regardless of culture or background. Yet our answers are not random. Our eating behavior is shaped by different areas of life, including:
- our mental state
- our physical condition
- our social environment
- the place where we eat
- our available time
- our cultural background and personal attitudes
At the same time, eating has a direct impact on these very life areas. What we eat influences how we feel, how well we perform, how we experience social situations, and how we relate to ourselves.
What is the workshop about?
In this workshop, you will learn to understand the interactions between eating behavior and different areas of life. You will discover that these areas do not function in isolation but continuously influence one another.
Based on this understanding, you will be able to decide for yourself:
- Do I want to work directly on my eating behavior?
- Or is it more sustainable to change aspects of my life circumstances—the source instead?
What will you take away?
- A holistic understanding of nutrition psychology
- Clarity about why you eat the way you do
- Practical, everyday tools for each of the six life areas
- New possibilities for action instead of rigid dietary rules
